The work

Catholic Gladiator began as a daily discipline: one piece of original art, every day, drawn from Scripture, the saints, and the sacraments. No stock images. No borrowed devotional prints. Every image sold here was made for this purpose and exists nowhere else.

The subjects are not decorative. The Sacred Heart, the Sorrowful Mother, the wounds Thomas was told to touch, the Cross itself - these are the things the Church has always put in front of the eyes of the faithful, because what a man looks at is what he becomes.

Why it is called what it is called

The gladiator did not choose his arena. He chose only how he would stand in it. The Christian life is not a retreat from the fight but a summons into it, fought with different weapons and toward a different victory - and the saints are the ones who fought it to the end.

With Christ before me, no evil shall prevail.

How it is made

Everything in this shop is printed to order. Nothing is warehoused, nothing is mass-run, and nothing is discounted into meaninglessness. A canvas is stretched, a metal print is infused, a shirt is pressed - after you order it, and for you.

That means it takes a few days longer than a warehouse would. It also means the piece that arrives at your door was made once, for one wall or one man, rather than pulled off a pallet of ten thousand.
